TORNADO AG SYN SERIES

TORNADO AG SYN SERIES are superior quality, fully synthetic air & gas compressor oils. Lubricants for compressors are very dependent upon the type of compressor e.g. reciprocating, rotary, screw, and also the gas being compressed e.g. air, nitrogen and refrigerants etc. Mineral oil-based compressor oils have advanced significantly but some problems areas still exist. These are predominantly related to the oxidation stability of the lubricant with the high temperatures experienced in some compressors. With these features firmly in mind TORNADO AG SYN SERIES has been designed specifically to offer superior properties when compared to conventional mineral-based compressor oils. TORNADO AG SYN SERIES are manufactured by using synthetic Poly Alpha Olefin (PAO) base stocks. Ashless Inhibitors are added to control oxidation, a problem encountered in the high-temperature areas of the discharge zones, and anti-wear to protect all the mechanical parts in a compressor.

TORNADO AG SYN SERIES are designed for rotary screw, pistoning, and sliding vane compressors.
A 5000-hour drain period is customary with this type of lubricant under maximum compressor end temperature +220ºC,
and it can be extended up to 6000 hours depending on application & operational conditions. TORNADO AG SYN
SERIES are also suitable for gas compressors using ammonia (R717) and Hydrocarbon (R290) refrigerants. The
recommended service temperatures for these lubricants are between -54°C to + 220°C.
